The Good, The Bad, and The Uncanny: Tales from the Weird West
My next story will appear in this anthology. Want a character named after you? LIVE on Kickstarter.
Happy Pride Month!
Felt it was a great time to present my queer bounty hunter Weird West tale—forthcoming in THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UNCANNY from Outland Press. This collection is edited by Jonathan Maberry (an amazing author and editor) with a stellar line-up of literary folks penning their takes on the Weird Western genre.
We’re LIVE on Kickstarter with some great bonuses and offerings. You can get a character named after YOU in my story. And trust me, it’s a wild ride of a tale.
Here’s an exclusive excerpt from my story!
Excerpt from "The Night Caravan" by Jennifer Brody
“The desert comes for you—no matter who you are. There’s always a price to pay.”
That’s the last thing my lil’ sister said before they gagged her and dragged her away to collect the bounty on her head. That was six long months ago. Now, I’m back in Gulch Hallow. The last place I want to be…but she’s my blood. And that runs thicker than water in these parts. If you can find water. I’d reckon blood is more plentiful.
